How the practice handles personal information submitted through this website.
Who we are
This website is operated by the practice of Dr Nash Munthree ("the practice", "we"). We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us: your role (patient, family member or referring doctor), name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, city or country, the general topic of your enquiry, whether you have a referral, and a brief message.
Please do not include detailed medical information in the enquiry form. The form does not accept file uploads.
We do not use advertising cookies. If we use website analytics, it will be privacy-preserving and will not record what you type into forms.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange an appointment if you want one. We do not sell or share your information for marketing.
Who processes it for us
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., and enquiry messages are delivered to the practice by an email service provider. These providers act as operators on our behalf and may process information outside South Africa, under agreements that require appropriate protection.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment are deleted once they are no longer needed. If you become a patient, your records are kept as required by law and by the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
